Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable! But, here are some ideas: Ceremony - Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. For ladies, we don't recommend heels as our ceremony will take place in grass. Reception - Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

July is the sunniest as well as the most humid month in sunny San Diego, with average humidity at 75%. The daylight lasts for 14 hours, and the weather tends to be warm and dry with hardly any rain. Expect the day to heat up to 80°F (26.7°C).

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony - Our ceremony will take place in an outdoor garden area called Pine Hill located at Paradise Point Resort. We ask that you refrain from bringing umbrellas as there are plenty of shade and grass on site! Don't forget to bring sunscreen! Cocktail Hour - Outdoor Reception - Our reception is primarily indoor, but there is an outdoor patio and deck area for guests to get some fresh air or walk along the Marina.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Immediately following the ceremony, guests are welcome to head over to the Marina for Cocktail Hour, which will take place at 4:30pm! Family members and wedding party are expected to remain at least 30 minutes to an hour for additional photos with the Bride and Groom. All other guests will have an opportunity later at the reception. Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception are at two different locations - about 5 minutes away from each other.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 45 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony and reception to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Please allow plenty of time for parking and walking to the ceremony site as parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Ceremony - There are two large parking lots available at Paradise Point Resort with free parking on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once filled to capacity, guests may be directed to park off-site. Guests may also park at our reception venue located 1.4 miles (or 5 minutes) away and carpool or take an Uber/Lyft over to Paradise Point. Please plan accordingly! Resort map is located here: https://paradisepoint.com/resort/beach-resort-map/ Reception - There are plenty of free-parking available! Guests may even park overnight.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Because the majority of our guests are local, we do not have a hotel block for guests. Please visit our "Travel" tab at the top to view some local hotels nearby. Guests may mention "Marina Village" for a minimum 15% discount. San Diego also has plenty of Airbnb's!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP deadline has now passed. If you have any last minute changes, please let the Bride and/or Groom know as soon as possible!

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/ gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know ahead of time so we can inform our venue. You'll also have an opportunity to let us know on your RSVPs.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please see our RSVP link on our website!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels - our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ItsAnArzadonLifeForMe so we can see all of your awesome pictures!

Question

Do I still need to take a COVID test? What about masks?

Answer

No need for a COVID test. If you are fully vaccinated, you will not be required to wear a mask. However, we will have plenty of masks and hand sanitizers available for guests who wish to use them.
