FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is autumn formal attire. We ask that our guests wear fall colors, patterns, and fabrics to celebrate the season! Think dark reds, oranges, golds, navy blues, deep purples or greens, etc. For example, for women, long dresses or jump suits, and for men suits and ties. Thank you for keeping it festive!

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP no later than August 24, 2026.

Question

What is the wedding itinerary?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at Abbie Holmes Estate on October 24, 2026. The doors will open and guests arrive at 4:00 PM and the ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM sharp. This will be followed by cocktail hour at 5:00 PM and the reception from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The Abbie Holmes Estate will be on your left (first driveway), in the back of The Woodland Shops, directly across from The Marketplace at Teaberry Antiques. Driving from the North: Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 17 for Sea Isle City/Dennis Township. Make a left at the end of ramp. Continue to Route 9. Make a left onto Route 9 and continue approx. 3 miles. The Abbie Holmes Estate will be on your right (second drive way), in the back of The Woodland Shops, directly across from The Marketplace at Teaberry Antiques. Parking: Abbie Holmes Estate has parking around the back of the venue. Please leave parking at the front for guests that have mobility needs.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony is in the venue's outdoor chapel, which is covered from weather. The venue has contingencies for inclement weather. If it's chilly, we'll make sure guests stay warm! Cocktail hour is in a covered porch that has heating and fans, and the reception is inside their ballroom.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask you that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We have wonderful photographers capturing this special day and we want our guests to truly be in the moment with us. BUT! Take as many photos and videos as you want during cocktail hour and the reception, and please, please, please share them with us! We will have QR codes to a Google Drive folder for photo sharing. If posting on social media, use the hashtag #RnT.

Question

Where can the registry be found and where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home address found on the return address of the invitation. A wedding card box will be at our reception. You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but this event is 21 and over with the exception of the ring bearer and flower girl.
