Social media has its perks and it has its downfalls but in our case it was what began our love story. A local boy from Hawaii (94 block to be specific) and a Washingtonian girl, both living in WA but had no knowledge of each others existence. And like any other talking stage, it all began with a simple DM LOL Some people have love at first sight (physically and in person) but we didn't have that luxury. We had "Love at first sight through a Facebook video" and the rest is history. The talking stage lasted some time and next thing you know two people who were finally content with their season of singleness decided to give dating one last try. From what seemed like days of butterflies to late night calls and conversations we mustered up the courage to set up our first date and meet in person. February 25, 2022 is the date that changed everything and the very next day was the start of our "Long distance" journey as a couple. All we had was faith, trust and confirmation from God and that was enough for us to step out of our comfort zone. They say that "distance makes the heart grow fonder" and we couldn't agree more! Through our journey as a couple God has truly been the reason why we've been able to receive and give the love that we have for each other. Some may even call us crazy for even agreeing to becoming a couple, knowing that we'd be miles and miles apart. BUT God orchestrated everything at such a perfect time! Now we're here, ready to tie the knot! We look forward to sharing more of our love story and can't wait for the moment we say "I DO". But for now we'll continue to say what we usually say... "Through and through it will always be you.."
