Hunter and I booked a long weekend trip to Blowing Rock, North Carolina. We rented a quiet cabin along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The day of the proposal was beautiful and spent enjoying local attractions. Before heading to dinner at the Speckled Trout, Hunter insisted we take a few pictures together. He was very well prepared and had set up a tripod to get the best picture possible - after a few pics, I turned around and Hunter was on one knee and it was an easy yes from me! After dinner, we came back to the cabin and shared the news with our family and friends. The rest of the evening was spent by the fire pit enjoying the evening with each other and having celebratory champagne.
