FAQs

The Wedding Website of Fátima Rodriguez and Jonathan Park
Question

Are children welcomed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we want our special day to be an adults-only celebration. Please make care arrangements in advance.

Question

What time should I arrive for the church ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1PM CST. All guests are encouraged to arrive by 12:45PM to ensure everyone is seated on time. People who arrive late to the ceremony will be asked to wait to enter until the bridal party and bride have made their entrance.

Question

Is there parking available at the church?

Answer

Yes! However, it is one city block away. Please plan your walk accordingly to arrive promptly before the start of the ceremony which begins at 1PM CST. Parking address: 1617 W Morse Ave Chicago, IL 60626 Right behind New Field Elementary School

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The break between Catholic mass and the reception is traditionally called "The Catholic Gap." This is because the mass is earlier in the afternoon to accommodate the usual Saturday evening masses at the local church. Guests are welcomed to return to their hotels to relax or change prior to the traditional Korean ceremony, Paebaek (폐백) at the reception if they wish. If guests wish to find a different activity or location during this time, please check the "Things to Do" page for more options in the area.

Question

Is there parking at the reception?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available directly in front of the venue.

Question

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We want you to fully enjoy yourselves as we celebrate our new chapter. Drinks are on us!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage our guests to dress in semi-formal cocktail attire. Please refrain from wearing casual wear.
