Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal The mood for our wedding is romantic, earthy, and effortlessly elegant. Think soft textures, muted tones, and rich, natural hues. We’re aiming for a refined yet relaxed vibe — picture flowy silhouettes, soft pinks, warm terracottas, olive greens, and touches of deep brown. Dresses can be long or midi, and fabrics like chiffon, satin, or lace are perfect. Just one ask: please avoid burgundy, as that’s reserved for our immediate family.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with you! Please note that our venue has limited capacity, and we've had to make some difficult decisions about our guest list. We're unable to extend invitations to additional guests.

Question

Are there any cultural traditions or best practices guests should be aware of?

Answer

Yes! We’re so excited to share our day with you and introduce you to some beautiful traditions from a traditional Mexican Catholic wedding. The ceremony will be held in a Catholic church and will include symbolic rituals such as the lazo (wedding lasso placed around the couple to represent unity), the arras (13 coins exchanged to symbolize prosperity and commitment), and special blessings from the priest. The ceremony will be primarily in Spanish, with a few parts in English. At the reception, get ready for lots of music, dancing, and joyful traditions! You might see: La Víbora de la Mar – a fun and energetic game where guests form a line and weave around the room under an arch made by the couple, often ending in laughter and chaos! El Baile del Billete (Money Dance) – where guests are invited to share a dance with the bride or groom by pinning a bill to their outfit, as a way to offer blessings and good wishes. El ramo y la liga – similar to the bouquet and garter toss, filled with fun and friendly competition. There will be a short break between the ceremony and reception, so feel free to use that time to relax, grab a bite, or freshen up before joining us for the celebration!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home (address listed on our registry). A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding hashtag is #VeraInLoveWithMorales.
