The word Sangeet means 'music', and among the traditional pre-wedding rituals, the Sangeet night is when the festivities really get started! This event is a way to celebrate not only the couple's union, but also the bonding of their families. You can expect music, performances, dinner, and a lively dance floor.

Nikkah

Since the Nikkah will be held at Jamatkhana, the guests should dress formally and modestly.

The Ismaili Nikkah is a Muslim marriage ceremony to be held inside a Jamatkhana (religious center). This is when the bride and groom sign a marriage contract and say "I do."
