Paulista Avenue is one of the most important avenues in São Paulo. It's nice to walk around and experience this amazing city!
If you were to pick one thing to do in São Paulo this would be it. In 2019, Cody's first time in São Paulo, we booked a "graffiti tour" with Giuliano and we learned so much about the city. We couldn't recommend this enough. Giuliano knows all the perfect spots for a mix of both culture and views. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. He offers paid and free tours depending on the day.
This is where you want to go if you want to go shopping. We highly recommend visiting the "Havaianas" store for a pair of flip flops or an authentic Brazilian souvenir.
Awesome São Paulo pizza! Yes, we eat it with a fork and knife.
Wholesale market right next to Fa's Aunt Gloria's apartment. The only reason you have to go here is to have pastel and caldo de cana com limão. Pastel is a thin crust fried pie with assorted fillings. You can get cheese, ground beef to hearts of palm. Caldo de cana is basically sugar cane juice - you will miss it when you go back home. Or maybe you just might move here...
