It all began on a chilly Sunday afternoon in New York City back in 2011. Charles was walking to the store when he bumped into an old friend. His friend asked him to come watch the NFL playoff games with him at Columbia University, and Charles, feeling spontaneous, agreed. It was a decision that would change his life forever. Shortly after arriving on campus, Charles met Fatima. The two made eye contact and it was as if time stood still. Everything around him faded away. He was drawn to her, and she to him. Over the next few years, Charles and Fatima became inseparable. They would spend countless hours together, going to basketball games and music festivals. They would talk on the phone for hours, sharing their hopes and dreams with each other. They became the best of friends, and it was clear to everyone around them that they were meant to be together. Unfortunately, life circumstances caused them to go in separate directions. Additionally, Fatima moved all the way across the country to pursue her dreams. They, unfortunately, lost touch for several years, and it seemed like their love story had come to an end. But fate had other plans. After a series of unbelievable events that could only be explained by Divine intervention, Charles and Fatima were brought back into contact. It was as if the universe was conspiring to bring them back together. Without going into too much detail, the series of events were nothing short of a movie. After they reconnected, everything became clear. They talked for hours, catching up on everything that had happened in their lives. Shortly after reconnecting, Charles made the brave decision to leave everything behind in New York and move to Los Angeles to be with the love of his life. Packing only what could fit in his Hyundai Sonata, they embarked on a four-day road trip across the country, finally arriving in Los Angeles on Christmas Day 2020. It was a moment of pure joy and celebration as they began their new life together in the city of angels. From sharing endless inside jokes to co-manifesting remarkable life experiences, the two have an undeniable connection they hold in the highest regard.
