The story began in Fall 2019 when they met in Calculus class at Norco College. Fatima sat next to Ben and pretended to not know how to solve a problem just so she can talk to him. They then started hanging out after class, getting lunch, and studying together. Ben asked Fatima out on a formal date that Winter and later made it official in Spring. Fast forward to Fall 2020, they started their 2-year long-distance relationship because Ben went to Wisconsin to complete his Bachelor’s while Fatima went to San Jose State for hers. Ben moved to the Bay Area to be with Fatima and they have lived out there since. Ben proposed on Fatima's 24th birthday and that brings us to the present. La historia comenzó en otoño de 2019 cuando se conocieron en la clase de cálculo en Norco College. Fátima se sentó junto a Ben y fingió no saber cómo resolver un problema solo para poder hablar con él. Luego empezaron a juntarse después de clase, almorzar, y estudiar juntos. Ben invitó a Fátima a salir en una cita formal ese invierno y más tarde hicieron su relación oficial en primavera. En otoño de 2020, comenzaron su relación a larga distancia de 2 años porque Ben fue a Wisconsin para completar su carrera, mientras que Fátima fue a San Jose State para la suya. Ben se mudó al Área de la Bahía para estar con Fátima y han vivido allí desde entonces. Ben le propuso matrimonio en el cumpleaños de Fátima y eso nos lleva al presente.
