Our Love Story: We met as teenagers, at a party where neither of us knew just how much our lives were about to change. From the moment we crossed paths in 2008, Robert couldn’t ignore how he felt about me. He reached out to one of our mutual friends to tell her he liked me and truthfully, I felt the same. Still, I played hard to get, even though I had the biggest crush on him. Eventually, I gave him my number, and after the first time we linked up, we were inseparable. From that moment on, we never left each other’s side. Something about him felt different. I just knew he was my person. We grew into best friends first, building something real and unbreakable, and then we fell deeply in love. In 2013, we welcomed our first child Arielle, and our bond only grew stronger. Three years later, Robert asked me to marry him, and of course, I said yes. Over the years, we planned our wedding more than once. But life had its own plans for us. Every time we got close, we found ourselves expecting again, and so we lovingly pressed pause. But now, here we are. Not rushed, not forced just right on time. We did this our way, in our own time, and everything finally aligned the way it was meant to. Together, we’ve built a beautiful life and are blessed with three amazing children who get to witness this moment with us. And maybe that’s how it was always meant to be, not just a union between two people, but a full-circle moment for the family we created.
