It was a crisp October night, celebrating Halloween at the Fath household in LBI. She was Katara from Avatar the Last Airbender, he was George Harrison from the Beatles. Spooky vibes weren't the only thing in the air that night. Love was, too. They locked eyes in the stairwell but were heading in opposite directions "Oh my gosh" Sean thought to himself, "She's Beautiful". Sean knew after catching a first glimpse of her brown eyes dressed in blue eye shadow that he wouldn't be leaving that night without finding a way to talk to her. Later, they found each other again, and from that moment on, the night changed. They laughed and talked, completely wrapped up in conversation. Everyone else seemed to disappear. It began to feel like the most important conversation either of them had ever had. All they could see was each other. All they wanted was to imagine what a future together might look like. It wasn't until the next day when Christina officially asked Sean to get a cup of coffee. Their first date together became the last first date they would ever go on.
