All the discounted rooms are booked at the hotel. What should I do?

Answer

Please let Callie or Rob know and we will contact the respective hotel to add more rooms to the reserved block.

Are there going to be shuttle services for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttle services to and from the wedding venue. Please see the schedule tab of our website for more details. We kindly asks our guest to please take advantage of this service. Don't drink and drive - take the shuttle!

Will there be air conditioning in the reception barn?

Answer

Yes not to worry, we will have massive ice blocks with fans blowing behind them. We would ask all guests to contribute to the ice chest so we can keep cool air blowing all night. ....or it is climate controlled. Need to check with venue......

When are RSVP's due?

Answer

If you are reading this question, you are already too late. They are due by April 5th. You can RSVP now if you want through the website, by texting Callie or Rob, or sending us your formal invitation reply through the mail.

What is the attire?

Answer

Business casual to formal attire. Basically no jeans, shorts, polos, or sandals (applies to dudes only). For the ladies, please don't wear white or Callie will have a meltdown.

Is there parking available at the Allen Farmhaus?

Answer

Yes, there is. We encourage all guests who are staying at one of the hotels listed on the website to please take the shuttle bus.

Will there be food and drinks served at the reception?

Answer

There will be appetizers and drinks served at the cocktail hour. But hold your horses folks, we will be having some amazing BBQ and all the fixin's served buffet style at the reception. Drinks provided all night.

I am not bringing a +1 to the wedding, but I can't RSVP on the website. What should I do?

Answer

We have had a couple of guests run into this issue already so we wanted a FAQ about it. If you are not bringing a + 1 and we gave you a + 1 on the website, please change the first name of your non-existent +1 to "Guest of" and the last name to "your last name". Then, put them as "will not attend". After that you should be able to RSVP for yourself.

What is the policy for photos at the wedding?

Answer

Take as many photos as you would like! We just ask our guests to refrain from taking photos only during the wedding CEREMONY. Our photographer will be in different places within the outdoor chapel capturing the moment and we don't want her shots to be obstructed by raised hands or phones. Thank you for understanding :)

Is there anything I should know about the wedding reception in advance?

Yes, two things! The Grand March - a Traditional Texas Dance: The Grand March is performed by all guests at the wedding. All you have to do is follow the leader! The Aggie War Hymn - An Aggie Wedding Tradition: Callie is questionably the loudest and proudest member of the fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2015. When DJ Ryan announces it - we'd like all alumni, students, and fans to join in singing the Aggie War Hymn.
