Baraat is one of the most fun-filled traditions in the Indian wedding ceremony. It is the procession, during which the groom is led to the marriage venue, accompanied by family members and friends, involving live music and dancing. Once the groom's side arrive, they are welcomed by the bridal family and guests, which is known as the Milni. The Milni is the meeting of both families. Breakfast will be provided after the Milni at the Palos Verdes Terrace.

The Sikh wedding ceremony is properly called Anand Karaj, meaning "Blissful Union". The main Sikh wedding ceremony begins with all guests seated and awaiting the groom as hymns are sung. The groom arrives and sits before the Guru Granth Sahib. The bride then enters, escorted by family members and friends. As the bride and groom sit, the wedding official offers prayers. A series of four prayers called the Lavaan are said, during which the groom leads the bride around the Guru Granth Sahib. Lunch will be provided after the ceremony.

A tradition of Persian weddings is the beautiful Sofreh Aghd, an arrangement of symbolic items placed in front of the bride and groom. The items on the Sofreh represent elements in nature, and are deeply ingrained in Persian culture, especially during celebrations and weddings. While the ceremony is conducted, female relatives and friends of the couple hold a fine cloth over the couple’s head. They alternate grinding sugar cones over the bride and groom’s head, adding more sweetness to their life together.
