Maid of Honor
Farzeen and I met at the bus stop on the first day of High School back in 2004. We have shared some amazing memories including arguing on the bus, dancing together in bhangra team, working on Partnership Walk and Kaleidoscope, having joined birthday celebrations, and spending many sleepless nights organizing parties for our friends. Maintaining friendships after high school is hard but with Farzeen, we always pick up right where we left off. While we haven’t lived in the same city for a while now, Farzeen and I always manage to visit each other and continue to make memories (dancing is a must!). We are both waiting to retire so we can have more time for Daisy Fudge, an event planning business we started together!
Best Man
From an early age, I knew something was amiss. I found myself constantly being accompanied by this person. Everywhere I went, he was getting in the way of what I felt like was my calling: doing anything and everything I pleased. As the years went on, my parents convinced me that he was, in fact, my older brother. After that, I learned many things. My brother is one of my greatest protectors and supporters. He is the fiercest and most loyal of friends. No matter what he does, it is selfless and with great passion. Much of what I’ve learned about life, I learned by following, and pestering, him. Even though we’ve literally given each other scars, I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up next to anyone else. I couldn’t be prouder to stand next to Juan, hand on his shoulder, on this special day.

Farzeen and I met during our first year of business school. I think my earliest memory of us is lying down in a circle playing the "haha" game, which is appropriate because I think a lot of our time together has involved laughing! I think I met Juan shortly after this at a school social. The rest is history! Farzeen and Juan are my favorite couple to third wheel. Any time with them is a fun and memorable. From hang gliding in the hills of Chattanooga or eating gelato along the river in Florence to chasing Pokemon on the streets of New Orleans, it's been a blast, and I can't wait for this next wedding adventure with them! Go Team Babykins!

Mrs. G’s seventh grade e.e cummings project solidified a 25 year friendship for Juan and David. Regardless of class schedule, girlfriends, theatre productions, and fantastic hairstyles, Juan put up with David’s company and made time to be his friend. The Ballesteros family accepted David with open arms leaving an open invitation for him to attend family birthdays, holiday celebrations, and every SuperBowl to cheer on the Steelers, even if they were not playing. Juan has always made himself available to help David through any and all tough spots and drive him to Denny’s and Taco Bell for 3AM meals. Juan would give David the clothes off his back, if they would fit. David is proud to be a part of Juan’s marriage and hopefully he won’t break anything at the wedding ceremony.

Farzeen and I connected while singing 90's songs at karaoke during a sorority event. While our similar personalities made things a bit tough at first, it is also what makes our friendship so wonderful! Over the years we've cooked dinners, had sleepovers, held fundraisers, took day trips to Tennessee to go zorbing and white water rafting, went skiing, and took a spring break trip to PCB. Throughout all of these memories, I see Juan sprinkled in, supporting and helping in whatever way he could. It's always fun to hang out with them, it's so easy and I never feel like a third wheel. While we don't live in the same city anymore, everytime I see Farzeen, we pick right back up where we left off. I am so excited to be Farzeens bridesmaid and so excited for her to be mine in a few more months!

I first met Juan during one of the MBA socials and instantly took a liking to him (I mean who wouldn’t). He is one of the most thoughtful and caring guys I have ever known in my life! Juan has always been the first one to step up and help a friend in need, be it carrying extra sliding boards up a volcano, or walking a good mile to fix a car with a dead battery. I have loved all the adventures we have had in the past and I look forward to whatever the future holds. Lucky to be your friend Juan, or as I like to call you, Mr. Baller-status :)

I met Farzeen at Georgia Tech while getting our MBAs and my experience would not have been the same without her and Juan! They celebrated my successes, encouraged me, and were there for me when things got tough. Both Farzeen and Juan visited my country, the beautiful Nicaragua, and I loved showing them around, introducing them to the traditional food, and sharing that experience with some of my favorite people! <3

I can honestly say that Juan has known me since I was born. His mother, Inelu, is my godmother and his parents are long time friends of my parents. Between yearly visits to Miami as a child, and Juan living with my family and myself for a time, Juan has always been as close as a brother to me. Meeting Farzeen, I could tell how close Juan and her had become instantly. I am excited to meet her family and friends and look forward to a fun time at the wedding.

I first met Farzeen in architecture studio at Georgia Tech in the fall of 2007 but our friendship has since grown in a multi-faceted way. We've been classmates, studio partners, roommates, sorority sisters, and even travel companions while studying abroad. There have been so many joyous as well as laugh-til-your-sides-hurt moments over the last eleven years but also times of support--a friend to listen, to lean on, to cry beside, to feed veggies (!) or instant ramen, etc. I am so thankful to share such a lasting bond with someone as down-to-earth, loyal, and vibrant as Farzeen. I am likewise honored now to add yet another facet to our wonderful friendship--that of bridesmaid!

It was the dawning of the age of aquarius, two youthful and robust brown people brought together to share a bunk in a respected liberal arts college. My first impression of Juan was, damn, on a suave scale, I am currently a zero. When we both defied societal expectations and absconded from the success of our peers; it was not celebrated or understood. But ultimately it steered a course that led Juan to Farzeen. And if those early and miscellaneous decisions brought these two cats together by fate or coincidence, they were all 100% worth it.
