Are kids invited?

For Saturday night, while we love your children, we've decided to have an adults-only celebration to allow all our guests to relax and enjoy the evening. Babes in arms permitted. For Sunday, children are welcome and encouraged to join. If you're bringing your kids with you to Notts, we're happy to help source local babysitters -- just let us know!

Will this be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Mostly outdoors! There will be a marquee in the garden and the house will be accessible so we'll be able to stay dry in the event of rain but please plan accordingly for footwear (stilettos are not necessary for the dress code and are not recommended for the garden).

What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer smart casual. Think summer dresses for the ladies and chinos and shirts for the men. No ties or jackets required. Football shirts will be accepted.

What about the World Cup?

Answer

The third place playoff game will be happening at 10 PM on Saturday. If England or the US are playing in that game, we'll probably find a way to show it (but don't tell Amanda!). Similarly, if England or the US (unlikely) are in the final on Sunday, we'll also find a way to show it. Stay tuned for more info!

How do I get to/from Archway?

Answer

Ubers are not available in this part of the English countryside so the best way to get around is by booking a taxi (how old fashioned!) or getting a rental car. We're working to have a few taxis on standby for Saturday evening to do shuttle runs to/from local accommodations - will provide more info as we get closer to the date.

Your presence is the only gift we ask for.
