On November 12, 2014, we went on our first date: nachos and drinks at a local bar. From there, we participated in cooking classes, went on ghost tours and even saw a Mirvish musical before we had been dating for two months. Food, spookiness and live experiences have been our love language since day one.

We were in Alberta and woke up at 5am to drive halfway between Banff and Jasper to hike Chephren Lake Trail. We trudged through rain, mud and snow to get to Chephren Lake in time to see the sun come up over Mount Chephren, and because of the less-than-ideal weather, we ended up having the whole trail to ourselves. When we got to the lake, it looked surreal. It was one of the most beautiful sights we'd ever seen (pictured below!). We were taking it all in when Thomas pulled out the ring box and said: "... Are you going to put it on?"

We are so excited to celebrate with all of you. If you know us, you know that when we do something, we do it well... so get ready. WE'RE DOIN' THIS THING!
