A Celebration of Marriage

We met during the height of the pandemic, both spending time out in the Hamptons. Dylan was working remotely from Southampton, and Ciara—originally from Canada—was living on a boat in Sag Harbor and biking all over the East End, which quickly became her favorite escape during lockdown. It turns out we were unknowingly riding the same routes, on identical black Pinarello bikes, often in the same gear. Eventually, Ciara noticed the pattern on Strava and left a note on Dylan’s profile, asking him to reach out on Instagram. Dylan didn’t even have Instagram at the time—but he downloaded it just to reply. (Worth it!) What started as a biking friendship quickly turned into a summer romance, filled with late-night beach picnics, bonfires, and long rides that neither of us wanted to end. Since then, we’ve built a life together in Brooklyn—one full of love, laughter, and adventure. While we quietly got married in a private ceremony, we couldn’t be more excited to finally celebrate with the people we love most! Ciara & Dylan The note that started it all...
