The road is accessible from the West side and the East side. You can drive the entire length of the windy road, or you can ride in a red bus and enjoy the views while learning about the history of the park.
Need to cool down? Take a leap off of the Belton Bridge. Closed to traffic, the old bridge is a local secret.
