Question
What date should I RSVP by?
Answer
The sooner the better, but please, RSVP no later than Saturday, September 30th! This gives us a little over a month to let our caterer know exactly how much food to prepare (VERY important!) & gives us time to set up a layout for seating! Thank you in advance!

Can I just come to the reception party?
Answer
Absolutely! If you choose to forgo the ceremony, and celebrate after with us at the reception, that is completely okay! All we ask is that you don’t arrive during our ceremony time, so no earlier than 5PM!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We ask you come dressed in semi-formal or formal attire! We want everyone looking and feeling their best on this big day! Keep in mind our date is November 4th in Illinois, so it could be chilly! While we can’t control the weather, we can do our best to accommodate you! The barn is heated, so in the unfortunate event of a cold day, the barn will be closed and the heat turned on. We will also provide blankets and a cozy fire started around the fire pit! Wear your favorite Fall colors, but please no white; we wouldn’t want to mistake you for the bride!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! Just make sure to include them on the RSVP! There is plenty of outdoor space for them to run around and play if the weather permits!

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?
Answer
There is plenty of parking space available! Please keep in mind our ceremony time for 4PM. We ask you arrive 30 minutes early to be seated, as parking is close to the ceremony site, and nothing worse than a distraction, such as a late car pulling up a gravel drive in the middle of our ceremony! If you choose to forgo the ceremony and just attend the reception (completely okay) we ask you arrive no sooner than 5PM to celebrate, as arriving early to the reception, could also interrupt our allotted ceremony time!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! We would love to accommodate you! I am a nurse, but appreciate no emergencies on the big day!

Who do I contact if I have a question or concern on the day of?
Answer
While we would love to help, we may not have our cell phones on ring while saying “I do!” We will, however, have our usher to answer questions and guide you the day of! Keenan Beard is happy to help!
