Aside from the beauty of the Mission grounds, this place is special for several reasons. Mainly, it was the place where Sam happened to be when Rob first asked her out, and it was also the place where Rob popped the question! Here you can find the oldest Altar in the U.S., the beautiful historic chapel at the center of the Mission, and the Great Cross by the inlet.
