Let me tell you about my best friend... I wills always remember the first time I saw Jake... We made eye contact and both of us felt it. A few minutes later, we were introduced through mutual friends, and instantly shared a real friendship, real life conversation, a deep connection. After that, every time we saw each other we'd always share our own little bubble talk, sometimes for hours, just us, so comfortable and natural...friends. There was always flirtation, glances, small touches, but our friendship was always the most prevalent and important to us, therefore we remained strictly friends while we both healed through our own experiences, lived and grew as individuals. Then one night, while out in FoCo listening to live music, Jake touched my leg, and we shared another of those many previously shared glances, and everything just clicked and fell right into place. Puzzle pieces. And we have been together ever since. He loves, supports, and thoroughly encourages my role as a mother, he loves my kids and they love him, and we are committed to a life together. He is without a doubt the most patient, sturdy, level headed, playful, funny and loving man I have ever met. And I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him! - Love is friendship set on fire.
