Logan and Avery were both involved in the same campus ministry in college, Cru, and had met once or twice in passing. For two years, they attended the same events, but never interacting with each other. Until they both applied to go on a mission trip during the summer to Japan in 2023. It was here that their friendship began. Doing ministry together, living in the same house with 10 others, bonding over their love for music, and having their plane tickets alphabetically placed next to each other for a 14-hour flight...these all presented great moments for the two to become good friends. At one moment, Logan even described his "dream girl" to a friend on the trip, which was an unintentional list of many qualities Avery has. Flash forward to being back on campus at the end of the summer, the two stayed friends (Much to Avery's dislike, as she was developing quite a big crush), until the same friend mentioned above gave Logan a hint about her crush. Logan soon asked Avery out on a date, and the rest is history. There have been trials and tribulations, but the Lord has been faithful and ever-present in their relationship. Logan and Avery pray that their relationship would only be a mirror of Jesus' love for His people. They are so excited to take a step of faith in marriage, trusting the Lord to use the two of them to spread His name!
