It's Wedding Time!

Jon & Lauren had been on their own journeys to find love and happiness for quite some time when a friend decided to step in. 4th of July, 2017 Jon and Lauren were set up & introduced at a picnic. Little did anyone know, both had considered not going to the party a number of times, but decided to go at the last minute. They pulled up to the house at the same moment & met for the first time with arms full of fireworks & food. A few weeks later Jon worked up the nerve to ask Lauren out, and with a confidence boost from her co-workers, Lauren said yes. A warm Friday night in July the 2 met again at Kaya in the Strip District. Enjoyed 4 hours of talking, drinking, & eating before closing the restaurant and heading out to find somewhere to continue their evening. On the way to Beerhive Jon worked up the courage to kiss Lauren for the first time. The night was perfect! After their first date they were inseparable. The next day they went out again, and again the next night. Before long (and maybe before Jon even realized) Lauren moved in & the rest was history.

It was a rainy Monday at work when Jon sent Lauren a text to ask if she wanted to go out for dinner instead of staying in like normal. When she got home from work he was out finishing errands, but would be home soon. Jon swung by their apartment & picked her up, on the way they both joked how him picking her up made it feel like they were going out on a 'real' date again. *She even had butterflies the whole drive* Once at the restaurant Jon suggested a bottle of champagne, which should have been enough to tip her off, but it wasn't until his heartfelt speech & he scooted his chair out that she truly knew what was happening. Yes.
