Georgia Aquarium
Visit the largest aquarium in the United States (and the third largest in the world)! The Georgia Aquarium features more than 500 underwater species and is the only aquarium in the US that houses whale sharks. This is one of our favorite spots to visit because there are 7 major galleries, more than 11 million gallons of water, and new things to see every time! A great spot if you're bringing little ones with you! While you're there, try to spot our favorite creatures: Jordan's favorite: the new shark exhibit! Zoo Atlanta
Zoo Atlanta is located in historic Grant Park, just minutes from Downtown Atlanta. It houses more than 1,000 animals, representing more than 200 species from around the world. A great spot if you're bringing little ones with you!
Atlanta Botanical Garden
An urban oasis in the heart of Midtown, the Garden includes 30 acres of outdoor gardens, an award-winning Children’s Garden, the serene Storza Woods highlighted by a unique Canopy Walk, and the picturesque Skyline Garden.
Fernbank Museum | 3D Theater | Forest
Fernbank Museum of Natural History has a number of permanent exhibitions and regularly hosts temporary exhibitions in its expansive facility, designed by Graham Gund Architects, including dinosaurs! A great spot if you're bringing little ones with you!
Atlanta History Center
Founded in 1926, the Atlanta History Center is an all-inclusive thirty-three-acre destination featuring the Atlanta History Museum, one of the Southeast's largest history museums. It boasts gardens, trails, and three historic homes. The Swan House (pictured) was featured in "The Hunger Games."
Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame
The College Football Hall of Fame was established in 1951 to immortalize the greatest players and coaches as positive role models for future generations. 95,000 square feet. A 45-yard indoor football field. More than 50 engaging and interactive exhibits. A shrine to the greatest to ever play or coach the game. Who had better back-to-back nattys? The Dawgs in 2021 and 2022 or The Tide in 2011 and 2012?
National Center for Civil and Human Rights
The National Center for Civil and Human Rights is a museum dedicated to the achievements of the civil rights movement in the United States and the broader worldwide human rights movement.

Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park
Start at the visitor center and then work your way around the three main sites in this historic park: the home in which the leader of the Civil Rights movement in America was born, the church where he preached and the memorial site where he is buried.
High Museum of Art
The High Museum of Art is the largest museum for visual art in the Southeastern United States. Featuring American, European and African art, as well as decorative art and photography, the High Museum boasts a permanent collection of over 11,000 pieces, many of which can be viewed from different levels of the four-story, glass atrium.
Piedmont Park
Piedmont Park boasts more than 200 acres of greenspace in the heart of Midtown. Music Midtown, a music festival, will be happening in the Park the weekend of our wedding - catch a band or two while you're in town!
Oakland Cemetery
Step back in time in Atlanta's most tangible link to the past, Oakland Cemetery. This historical park is the final resting place for many Civil War soldiers, golfing legend Bobby Jones, and "Gone With the Wind" author Margaret Mitchell.
Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail
The Atlanta BeltLine is one of the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment programs in the United States. The city of Atlanta converted 22 miles of unused railroad tracks into walkways, trails, and open green space, which we now call the BeltLine! A combination of multi-use trail and linear greenspace, the Eastside Trail was the first finished section of the Atlanta BeltLine trail in the old rail corridor and connects some of our favorite spots, including restaurants, rooftop bars, breweries, and several tiny doors!
