Growing up me and my family were always so in love with art and the sciences. Having some of the most renowned artists work displayed here at the de Young Museum from surrealism, impressionism to modern and classical art work, this place is a must for all the art enthusiasts. There's also the Academy of Sciences right in front of the museum which is the perfect place to take kids for something knowledgable and fun !
Growing up me and my sisters were obsessed with ballet, so much so that my sister even took ballet classes and I had considered it too ! It was a family tradition to go and see our mothers favorite Swan Lake and my favorite, The Nutcracker. While my father was more into Opera, we always appreciated ballet a little more. Not to be biased, but if your looking for classical music and a performance this will be a sight for the eyes. And our wedding being held on January, it will be a perfect time to see the Nutcracker. Psssss.... dont tell him that we like ballet more then opera !
If your looing for American Cuisine and a view with a nice outdoor vibe then this place is the place for you. There is also another location in the SF area also.
