Harding proposed to Julia on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at the Rosengarten in Bern, Switzerland. It's a lovely rose garden and public park on a hill, with a gorgeous view overlooking the capital city.
Before they were ever dating, Julia and Harding first visited in February 2015 to watch an away game of Everton - the UK soccer team they follow, who disappoints them most weeks. They loved it so much they decided to visit again after a group trip to Munich Oktoberfest this past October.
Accompanying them were two great friends, Fred and Bethany Fridman. Fred is also the officiant and part of both wedding parties. The film was shot by Bethany while Fred took photos. Kudos to both of them for capturing this wonderful moment, as well as keeping a very tight secret the whole week.
Fred was definitely more nervous than Harding.
