We're getting married!

They say love can be found when you least expect it — for us, it started with a swipe on OkCupid. Neither of us could have known that one simple message would lead to a lifetime together. Our first date was at Outback Steakhouse in New York City, on a freezing winter night. He was worried he’d blown his chances when a bit of sauce landed in his beard, but I couldn’t stop laughing — he was hilarious, charming, and so easy to talk to. He later told me he thought I was even more gorgeous in person (and he secretly loved that I finished every bite of my steak). As the world slowed down during quarantine, our love only grew stronger. We stayed up talking until the birds started to sing, cooked up wild late-night creations like giant Trix pancakes at 2 a.m., and built a bond grounded in laughter, care, and selfless love. Five years later, after moving from New York to sunny Florida, he asked me to marry him in front of a beautiful waterfall. I didn’t hesitate for a second — it was the easiest yes I’ve ever said in my life. From that first steak dinner to this moment, our story has been filled with warmth, laughter, and endless love — and we can’t wait to start our next chapter as husband and wife.
