BLUE SPRING STATE PARK

Blue Spring State Park is one of the best places to see manatees near Orlando. In fact, it’s one of the largest manatee gathering sites in the whole state. This is especially true from mid-November to March, when hundreds of so-called “sea cows” flock to the area in search of warmer water. While you can't swim directly in the spring in January, you can hike along its banks to observe the gathering of manatees.
