Julia met Farah post-college through mutual friends on a sweltering August afternoon. From swapping poetry and playlists to exploring NYC, their friendship evolved into a collection of stories best told in iambic pentameter.

Nina and Farah first met at Fordham, and later found themselves recognized as leaders in the community with the Trailblazer Award—a reminder of the meaningful paths they’ve each been forging since college. Over the years, they’ve been one another’s cheerleaders—supporting each other’s work, sharing passions, and deeply understanding one another through the lens of neurodiversity. It’s been a true gift to have a friend who just “gets it.”
