We met as coworkers-- lucky for me, Adam takes client relations very seriously. One-off work meetings became regular casual coffee chats where Adam and I got to really know one another. In our second or third conversation, Adam and I talked about God and happiness, skipping over the small talk to dive into something more meaningful. Our friendship was founded in admiration for the other - intrigued by our shared values from pretty different upbringings, excited to witness the evolution of the other's heart. When Adam rolled off my company's project and we were no longer coworkers, we knew we needed to continue having these conversations that brought us both so much joy. Turns out that we not only share the same values but also the same taste in drinks, food, music, TV - all the fixings to make dating each other a no-brainer. So that's what we did... and now we're getting married!
