Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony, and reception will be held in the Fandels backyard.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 5:15 p.m. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. and we would like everyone already seated and not walking in as it is starting.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

No, there is not enough space for parking at the household so we will have guests park at the neighbors across the street where they will be picked up and given a ride to the ceremony location. Please park at 9924 N shore trail N, Forest Lake, MN.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids. But we’d like to give mom and dad the night off. Additionally, keeping safety in mind around around a lake, we’re limiting kids to just those in the bridal party/immediate family.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal. It Is also an outdoor wedding and reception so please keep that in mind.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors so please plan/dress accordingly. The reception will be under a tent.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

We are not allowing +1’s unless specifically stated on the invite. Although it is a backyard wedding, it is a small yard and we still have limited space.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes. There will not be an open bar but beer, wine, & seltzers will be provided. We do however ask respectfully, that you limit consumption.

Can I park overnight?

Answer

Yes, but you will need to get your car the next day.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I mail back my RSVP?

Answer

We are asking everyone to RSVP by July 30th. We also are only accepting RSVP’s on our website. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or trouble using the site.

What happens if I don’t RSVP? Can I show up anyways?

Answer

Since there is a limited number of seats, we need anyone who will be attending to RSVP. If you do not, but still decide that you want to come last minute, please text 651-285-8275.

Can we take pictures and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We do ask, however, that if you plan to have your phone out during the ceremony, you sit on the outside of the row and hold it low to avoid having a bunch of phones in the air in all of the professional photos. We would appreciate any photos/videos captured during the day though and would love if you could send us yours!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we ask that our guests enjoy a cocktail hour, followed by the reception.
