What started as following a guide through the galleries led us to sit down for a short rest — and instead, we found ourselves in a deep conversation. In that moment, we both felt it: this was just the beginning. Not long after, we welcomed the New Year by the sea in San Mateo. With the wind howling around us, we struggled to light tiny sparklers I had brought. After many tries — and using my coat to shield her from the breeze — we finally lit the first spark. Those little lights reflected in our eyes and made the night feel magical, as if fate was quietly bringing us closer. By Valentine’s Day, under the dim lights of a movie theater, I finally gathered the courage to hold her hand. That gentle moment, followed by roses, a gift, and a shy kiss, became my heartfelt confession. From then on, our lives intertwined naturally — through laughter, travels, and shared dreams — leading us here today, hand in hand, ready to begin the next chapter.
