Only the beginning

Eight years ago was Falynn and Devin's first brief encounter at a mutual friends house. Little did they know they would not see each other again for five years. But it was all God's timing. According to Devin, Falynn initiated the Instagram conversation that lead to a series of messages back and forth all day. Devin invited Falynn to dinner at Mercadito, not knowing this was one of her favorite restaurants, and coincidentally they both share a mutual love for tacos. When Falynn arrived at Devin's home, her breath was taken away once he opened the door with his beautiful smile. Time had been good to Devin and he was more handsome and taller than she remembered. All while keeping her cool, she maintained her excitement about their first date. She was even more impressed by Devin because every door was opened, he made her walk on the inside of the sidewalk, and chivalry was not dead! She was not accustomed to that and had to remind herself not to reach for the doors. Conversation at dinner was captivating, and Devin did not want it to end. Devin invited Falynn to the wine bar up the street from Mercadito. This was his way of keeping the night going by indulging in wine and more conversation. A week later, Devin could not stop thinking about the amazing time he had with Falynn. So, he asked her to be his girlfriend the next time they hung out. Devin instantly knew he did not want Falynn to be distracted by any other man. To his surprise, she said NO! Devin was agasp, perturbed, flabbergasted, confused. But after a couple days to reflect and receive guidance from a coworker and a best friend. Falynn requested that Devin ask again, and when he did on November 6, 2016 their relationship only continues to flourish from then on.
