Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As noted on the details sent with your invitation, please let us know no later than Monday, February 20th, 2023. To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" tab and type in your name (first and last name as it appears on your invitation) to update your RSVP status as well as select your meal preference.

Will there be any COVID protocols?

Answer

To protect the health & safety of our guests, we are taking the following precautions. Please carefully review these protocols to make an informed decision about your RSVP. For local guidelines, visit coronavirus.dc.gov Regardless of vaccination status, we would greatly appreciate our guests to take a PCR or antigen test within 24-48 hours of the wedding, especially if you've been in an environment with more exposure or frequent travel. While this isn't a perfect solution, we hope it will give peace of mind for yourself and others attending. If you are feeling unwell, have any symptoms, or are unable to adhere to these guidelines, we kindly ask that you please celebrate from home. Masks & sanitizer will be available at our venue. Regardless of regulations, we hope everyone feels comfortable wearing a mask should they choose to do so.

Yes! Our registry is through Zola, and can be found on this website under the Registry tab.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Guests can arrive as early as 5pm to grab a drink, mingle, and get settled. Coat check will be provided. Elevator access is available for those who need it.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope our guests will use this time to dress in your best Semi-Formal attire! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as well as suits, cocktail dresses, and jumpsuits. We want you to feel comfortable, but still hope you will dress up with us! Bold prints, fun colors, metallics, and sequins are encouraged. We’d love to see you jazz it up! The ceremony and reception will take place indoors at Autoshop.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space and budget limitations, we kindly ask that you do not bring a plus one, unless specifically listed on your invitation. You can confirm the members of your party under our RSVP section of this website. We thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to make the necessary arrangements to celebrate accordingly with us on the day!

May I post photos or videos to social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you be present with us and stay unplugged during our ceremony, keeping your phones and cameras stored away. We are very excited to share the photos and videos from our talented professionals - Lindley Battle Photography and Love in Color Films. After the ceremony, we would love for your to capture moments with loved ones. Please also include our wedding hashtag #RanalliNeedIsLove on social media, so we can easily catch up and enjoy the recap!

Where is the venue located?

Answer

Autoshop is at 416 Morse St Northeast DC, near Union Market and located above St. Anselm restaurant. Look for the signature blue sign and large iron doors!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a few discounted room blocks reserved at 2 different hotel options in the city (Conrad & AC Hotel Convention Center). Please visit the Travel tab of this website for more information. Booking through our room blocks must occur before February 17th, 2023.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Autoshop is conveniently located just under 2 miles from our main hotel (the Conrad). We encourage you to take ride-sharing apps (Uber, Lyft, etc.) for a short 12 min ride. You can save even more by scheduling your ride at least 30 minutes in advance. This will also be the preferred mode of transportation when the event ends. For those of you who prefer public transit (we know who you are), the closest metro station is NoMa - Galludet U / New York Ave, plus a 10 minute walk from there. If you are departing from the Conrad, use the Gallery Place / Chinatown station; it will be approx. 25 minutes total travel time. You can also use the D4 bus line (Ivy City route - start: New York Ave NW & 9th St NW, 8 stops: K St NE & 4th St NE - 20 min travel time).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available in the area - two 24-hour outdoor parking lots (free, first-come-first-serve basis - 1st lot entrance on 6th St and the second lot entrance on Penn St) and an underground garage (paid parking) located beneath La Cosecha.

Where can I sit during the ceremony?

Answer

Seating is open, just as long as there isn't a reserved sign on the chair.

Where can I sit during the reception?

Answer

Seating will be assigned and labeled with each guest's name.

What type of food and drink will be served?

Answer

We're excited to share some of our favorite flavors executed by our wonderful caterer, Heirloom DC! Immediately following the ceremony, hors d'oeuvres will be passed during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner and dessert. An open bar will be available throughout the reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please report any and all of your allergies via the RSVP tab on this website. We have already included food options to accommodate vegetarian and gluten free guests. If you need a vegan meal please include that in your answer about dietary restrictions. We want you to enjoy your meal, stress free.

Will there be dancing / entertainment?

Answer

We cannot imagine an event with this guestlist where we wouldn't be boogieing the night away. Of course there will be dancing! We've arranged for DJ Phlipz to keep you out on the dance floor, so bring your best moves and your party shoes!

What time does the event end?

Answer

A little party never hurt nobody, but our venue will be kicking us out at 11pm. For those who want to continue enjoying the festivities, we have reserved space at Cotton & Reed, which is just down the street and walking distance from Autoshop.
