Has the wedding reception location changed?

Answer

Yes! Our reception will now be held at Louisiana's Old State Capitol 100 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70801.

Where do I park?

Answer

The Cathedral has a small parking lot and parking is not available at Louisiana's Old State Capitol. Street parking in Baton Rouge is free after 6:00pm. Parking is also available at Third Street Parking Garage located on the corner of Convention and Third Street for a small fee.

Is everything in walking distance?

Answer

Yes! Louisiana' Old State Capitol is a 10 minute walk from St. Joseph Cathedral. Hotel Indigo is a block away from the Old State Capitol and the Watermark Hotel is located on the same street as the Old State Capitol. The Third Street Parking Garage is in a central location between all venues.

Is a Catholic mass long?

Answer

It is longer than a typical wedding ceremony, about an hour or so! Eat something light before the ceremony if you become hangry easily.
