Our story has a fairly conventional start - we met in college in 2011. Gary made a great first impression with his bleach blonde mohawk & his Gary the Snail backpack (what a surprise that thing's didn't start instantly). We shared a german class where Fal diligently sat in the front row & attended every lecture, while Gary rolled in late on the days that he decided to show up. Fast forward to the beginning of 2012 (Gary sans mohawk) when we re-connected at a friend's birthday party. The connection was instantaneous & weeks into our budding romance, we decided to take a trip down to Florida to celebrate spring break. After that, we became inseparable during our time at SRU, while Gary (actually attending the class at this point) helped Fal pass german and Fal tried to teach Gary how to properly study for history exams and learned that behind the goofy persona was a beautifully brilliant mind. After graduation, we both moved away, but never let our love fizzle out. Now, after years of long distance, celebrating more graduations, driving hundreds of miles to visit each other, adopting the cutest beagle ever, we can't wait to be married & living in the same zip code!
