Ari and Michelle have known each other since 2013! They have called each other "Sister" for years and are officially Sister in Laws as of 2025. Michelle & Ari can spend every day of a weekend together and still plan for more time in the near future. Between craft dates, binge watching their favorite dramas, or even reading in silence together, the fun truly never ends. Ari is the realest friend a girl could ask for and we cannot think of a more perfect person for the title of MOH!

Lane and Freddy met freshman year of college playing truly terrible video games. They’ve since traveled all over continuing that pursuit—finishing dead last at tournaments while making sure everyone knew they were having the most fun. It was a huge honor for Freddy to be part of Lane’s wedding. Now, Freddy couldn’t be happier to have Lane standing by his side.

Elizabeth and Michelle met in 2021 and have been inseparable ever since! They have now visited 2 countries together and make it a point to have at least one weekend getaway planned a year. Elizabeth is such a grounding person in Michelle's life who always reminds her of what's important and to choose herself. She is a bright light in Michelle's life and truly a soul sister!

Kevin is Freddy’s brother and has stood beside him through every major chapter of his life. Having him here today is more than an honor—it’s a reminder of where Freddy comes from and the love that shaped him. Freddy has always been deeply proud of the man his brother has become. Asking Kevin to welcome the newest member of the family felt natural and incredibly meaningful.

Bre and Michelle met in 2023 when Michelle first moved to Colorado and has brought nothing but joy into their friendship! She is one of the first friends Michelle made in the state. She has the biggest heart and is always there when we need her. They facetime every chance they get and bond over trying new things such as rock climbing, going to shows, and enjoying new restaurants. Bre welcomed Freddy into her's and her partner, Jack's life immediately and the 4 of them have so many memories together before moving back to Texas and can't wait to make many more with them elsewhere!
Mitch Horton

Freddy and Mitch met during Freddy’s time in Colorado and quickly became close friends. Mitch helped welcome Freddy into a new job, and a new state, always showing up when it mattered most. One of Mitch’s greatest gifts was introducing Freddy to his first dog, Juno, a companion who filled his Colorado years with so much love. That generosity perfectly captures who Mitch is and the way he helps the people around him embrace everything life has to offer.
JeMarra Rivers

Michelle and JeMarra have known each other since 2020! JeMarra's fiance, Jack, went to graduate school with Michelle where the group bonded over their love of board games. JeMarra and Michelle even worked together for a few years. They'd get together for virtual game nights and made sure to get dinner when Michelle would come visit from Colorado. JeMarra is such a fun spirit who can make anyone laugh and smile within seconds of meeting her.

Art and Michelle met in the Summer of 2020 in Austin, TX. Art has such a fun-spirited personality. Their friendship has stayed strong through a move to New York (Art) and Colorado (Michelle) and they always make time for each other when they are nearby. Art is the type of person to make you feel like the most important person in their lives no matter how much time has passed. He and Michelle have the type of friendship that is for a lifetime!
Abbie Balat

Abbie (on the right) and Michelle have known each other 6 years now! They first met virtually in 2020 during graduate school at UT Austin. In their first in-person course together, they immediately became friends. Always the first students to arrive early (nerds lol), they'd keep each other company and raise each other's spirits. They joined in on game nights together and Abbie was one of the first Texas friends to meet Freddy when her and Holden came to Colorado! No matter how long of a work day they had or busy their lives get, they always make the time for each other. Abbie is a true lifelong friend!
Austin Howard
Officiant
Austin is Michelle's older brother. As one of her biggest supporters and role models from day 1, Austin was selected as the officiant. Michelle and Austin were practically raised as twins being so close in age (14 months apart). He is someone the couple looks up to both as an individual and in his own relationship with his partner and Maid of Honor for the wedding - Ari. Freddy and Austin play pickleball nearly every week and have truly developed a friendship of their own which is all a sister could ask for. Fun fact: Michelle was the officiant for Austin and Ari's wedding in 2025!
