GETTING THERE
Villa Michaela is nestled in the Tuscan hills just outside of Lucca. Depending on your arrival airport, here are the best ways to reach the area:
Pisa Airport (PSA): The closest option, about 30 minutes by train. Taxis, private transfers, and rental cars are all available.
Florence Airport (FLR): Roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes away. You can rent a car, book a transfer, or take a train to Lucca.
Rome (FCO): Around 3.5–4 hours from Lucca, but a great choice if you’d like to spend time exploring Rome first. High-speed trains connect directly to Florence or Lucca.
Tip: Renting a car makes it easy to explore Tuscany’s charming hill towns and wineries at your own pace.
