Take a stroll down retro row for iconic thrift stores & cute bars/restaurants. We love stopping for a drink at Vine and checking out the local bands here. Little Coyote has amazing pizza by the slice. For a fancy dinner, check out Tarantella on 4th and sit on the patio for live music and great Italian. Lola's has great mexican and $5 margaritas.
The aquarium is downtown by a bunch of cool restaurants/bars. It's also next to the outlets if you want to do a bit of shopping. For a romantic adventure, there are swan boats for rent just a few blocks away!
Belmont is known for it's beach volleyball! Take a walk or run down the waterfront path that stretches all the way to downtown. Also, check out Second Street for great food, tons of bars, coffee shops, fresh juices, and boutique shopping. The town of Naples is right next door if you enjoy creeping on mansions and strolling the gorgeous canals.
This is our favorite restaurant in Long Beach and we highly recommend giving it a try!
Did you even visit Long Beach without a schooner and a round of pool at Joe Jost's?
