Tyler and Hannah met Labor day weekend of 2016. They grew up in the same town and had several mutual friends, but somehow manage to not meet each other until 2016 when Tyler sent Hannah a message asking to meet that night. He ended up leaving a friend's birthday party to go meet her and they instantly hit it off. That night they arranged to have their first official "date" that Monday where they went to see Blazing Saddles in theaters. Hannah and Tyler continued to see each other regularly, even after he moved to Roswell a few weeks later. A few months after they started dating, Tyler introduced her to his twin daughters and often spent time with the girls and Tyler. They go to the movies a lot (sometimes once or twice a week!) and spent a week in Savannah every year together for vacation. After almost two years of dating, Hannah and Tyler decided to move in together and moved in to a house in Smyrna. Then they decided to bring not only one but two dogs into their family pretty quickly.

Hannah had a pretty good idea that a proposal was coming on their annual trip to Savannah. She spent the week getting ready for the trip, and the weekend before, Tyler's daughters visited for the weekend. Early (ish) in the morning on July 27th, Tyler had Hannah and his daughters come into the girls' room with a question for them. He asked them if they would like for Hannah to become their step mom, which they replied "yes!" He then asked them if they knew what it meant and they said that it meant that they were going to get married. He then told them to ask Hannah if she would like to be their stepmother. Hannah said yes and nodded, as Tyler pulled out the ring from his pocket and asked "are you sure?" Hannah immediately said yes!

Tyler and Hannah will be married in Savannah, Ga on November 14, 2020 at 10 Downing above Churchill's British Pub on East Bay Street.
