It all started back in 2017 when Janna was playing in one of Dawei's indoor twilight tournament a week and a half prior to their first date. They were both socializing with mutual friends when he finally invites her to have a seat next to him. As their friends started to go play they finally introduced one another and exchanged contact info. Tournament is now over and they find themselves at home and texting each other. As the days go by they are now calling and spending hours on the phone, laughing and talking about career, family and some likes that they share. Dawei takes the courage and ask her to be her Valentine, but sadly she couldn't say yes because she had already made plans with her sister. Janna felt bad and didn't want him to think she wasn't interested so offers to go on a date the day after Valentine's day. We all know Dawei very well so of course he suggested to go to Borgata, Atlantic City as a date. They were both so nervous because they really like the conversations they had over the phone and did not want the date to go bad. He made such wonderful plans for the day and took her to a very fancy dinner, he even got her small gifts to surprise her. Just like that they fall in love and their love story begins.

Dawei and Janna's sister and best friend had gone to get the ring a few months prior to the engagement. He picks out a gorgeous Belle inspired ring because that was one her favorite movie that they watched together. With the ring in his hand, he is trying to plan the perfect way to propose to Janna with all her close friends there. Finally the day has come and he gets her co-worker to let her out early. She comes home and before entering the door she sees a note and hears music. Janna enters the house and the scavenger hunt begins. At the end of the scavenger hunt she finds a rose with a note attached "Congratulation you earned a dinner with your new Fiancé". Janna is tearing up from seeing the rose and is very confused with the note so she turns around to try to ask Dawei what the note is about. Instead she turns around and sees him with one knee down on the floor and a beautiful ring, he proposes to her. The newly engaged couple now has tears running down their face. He shows her to their bedroom to see the bed covered in flower petals. The surprise does not end there, remember that note about dinner. Dawei takes her to K-Pot and enters a semi private room. In that room were some of their friends including Janna's best friends from NY and her sister. All people she had mentioned to him she would want on her special day.
