The week leading up to this life changing event Jonny was persistent about the fact that we HAD to go on a ride this weekend. Whether on the the dirt bikes or street, whether and time pushed us for a street bike ride. Jonny was ready itching to go and making me get ready to go on this ride. He was wearing his nice favorite button up.... For a motorcycle ride... So I started freaking out about what to wear and wondering if IT was going to happen. So we finally left, we rode to Golden, a decent ride from our house and stopped for coffee. at the coffee shop Jonny kept pushing to get going and talking me into this ride up Lookup Mountain in Golden (which a cautious rider like myself is nervous about). It was twisty turn-y and pushed me outside of my comfort zone which is awesome. We made it to the top and Jonny decided that we should keep going. So we kept driving and couldn't find anywhere to "hike" so we came back down lookout mountain when Jonny pulled off the side of the road and decide it was a a good place to hike and eat a snack. So in our leathers and riding boots we hiked to a rock formation and ate a snack. I took about a hundred photos and kept thinking it was going to happen. Jonny finally decided it was time to leave so as I'm packing up and thinking that IT is never going to happen i turn around and see him down on one knee. I blacked out from all the excitement and emotions but remembering him saying "I love you more than anything..." I was so excited that I didn't wear my gloves home, since my ring didn't fit underneath them.and we rode home and went out to celebrate.
It’s crazy how two people could be in the same friend groups and never meet. But Thanks to a mutual friend (Shelby) we finally managed to meet at Hangtown in 2017! Things definitely worked out for the best with this one! Can’t wait for forever ❤️
