Bates 117 at Westfield State University. Where the magic began. Kelsey a senior and Bailey a freshman. Kelsey needed a percussionist for the musical she was directing and someone said there was a "pretty good" freshman named Bailey. So typical Kelsey fashion... she ran up to him and introduced herself and asked if he would play in the musical. Bailey hesitated and Kelsey wrote down her phone number and said well when you know let me know! And history was made!! We stayed friends for a year and one day, July 8th, 2015... it became official... boyfriend and girlfriend... though everyone knew we were dating already except Bailey. Fast forward to October, 17, 2020... Bailey asked Kelsey if they could go to Stanley Park in Westfield to walk around and enjoy the beautiful day. Kelsey was hesitant because she had a lot of work but decided to put the work to the side and hangout with Bailey. WHO KNEW (besides her) that that day would change my future. Bailey called all Kelsey's brothers the week prior and told him his plan and my brothers gave him their blessing. Walking around the park where Bailey and Kelsey use to spend their off time from school taking 3 hour walks at Stanley. Bailey turned and proposed to Kelsey with the most beautiful ring (his mothers diamond). All Kelsey could say was "really?!?! is this happening?!?" and of course said yes! Here we are today! Tanglewood has always been part of our story and are beyond excited to have our venue be part of our story. We are also excited to have all of you part of our important day. All of you are part of our story in its own special way and would not want to spend it with anyone else. We love you all and cannot wait for 10.15.2022 to come!
