Established in 1977, William H. Kain County Park consists of 1,637 acres and 2 lakes, Lake Williams (220 acres) and Lake Redman (290 acres). The park is made possible through a 50 year lease agreement between the County of York and The York Water Company.

ADDRESS: To Lake Redman Activity Area: 274 Hess Farm Road, York PA 17403
From York, follow S. George St. to Jacobus;
For Lake Redman, turn left onto Church St. and go .6 mile to boat launch area on left.
For Lake Williams, turn right onto Water St. and go .5 mile to main parking area.
Features:
Fishing: Fish types are Crappy, Sunfish, Catfish, Large Mouth Bass, Pike, Muskie, and Stripers. Both Lakes are designated as Big Bass Lakes by the Pa. Fish Commission.

Horseshoe Pits: Horseshoe pits are located near pavilions.
Playground: Located near pavilion
Volleyball: One court is available near Lake Redman
