When do I need to RSVP

Answer

Please RSVP your attendance, choice of room and dates arriving/leaving by July 1st. Additional booking instructions to follow. There is a 3-night minimum stay, in order to have our wedding on this resort it is required we have a minimum of 10 rooms reserved. Please review the hotel rates before RSVP. Unfortunately the resort is going under a complete renovation this fall which has sky rocketed the room prices for 2025 :( We were unaware of the high room rate increase when signing our wedding contract in the Spring of 2024

Unfortunately we are unable to invite all of our loved ones. This will be a very small & intimate wedding. We kindly ask that you respect our wishes for our big day and we hope to celebrate with all our loved ones once we move back home.

Do I need a passport

Yes, you will need a passport. I suggest getting it ASAP it takes months to arrive.

Is The Palms an all inclusive Resort

What should I wear

Answer

Do not be a rookie and wear jeans... For the girl's maxi dresses or any kind of light dress is the way to go. For the guy's breathable linen or fishing type clothing. DON'T WEAR WHITE Wedding colors are going to be everything tropical, hot pinks, bright orange and greens.

Do I need cash

Answer

Yes, you will want cash for mostly tips, everything else can be charged to the room. You will want to tip for transportation pickup/drop off at airport, bell hop, daily butler room service or you can put the sign on the door for no service needed, beach chair/drink hosts, captain of the boat and for taxi services they are cash only. There is only ONE ATM that I know of on this island, and you will have to taxi to it or if emergency the hotel will give you cash and charge it to the room with a service fee.

Customs

Answer

On your flight back home you will have to go through customs to get back into the USA. If you download the app MPC (Mobile Passport Control) and prefill your forms out, you will be able to go to a separate line and skip Infront of a lot of people. Depending if you have a layover, it could take over an hour depending on where your layover is so downloading the app is a lifesaver. We found that Charlotte is way easier for customs over Miami.

Boat Day

Let me know asap if you are interested in chipping in for a boat day. Our wedding planner is going to look into options for us but looking into snorkeling, visiting shipwreck and visiting Noah's Ark (celebrity hot spot) Also for the past two years this exact week the Karadsahians, Rob Dyrdek and other celebrities typically visit the Island

Can Not Attend

We completely understand if you can not make it under all the circumstances. Once we move home we plan to throw a huge reception where everyone will easily be able to celebrate with us.

Bugs

Answer

I follow a lot of the Facebook groups for Turks and Caicos and I always see people saying the mosquitos are bad and I take all precautions possible because bugs love to eat me alive. I typically do not wear any perfume, I use a special citronella body wash and I apply mosquito spray at nighttime. I have never had a bad experience though
