Rob and I first met at an athletic training org meeting where I complemented him on his shirt (He doesn't remember that. Go figure, right?). A few weeks later, we went to a basketball game with a group of mutual friends. I came home that night and told my roommate, Halie, that I wanted to end up with a guy like Rob someday. Just a nice, funny, smart guy. Was that too much to ask for? Barely knowing him, I recruited Rob for a summer job as a camp counselor so I could get my $40 recruiting incentive. I never got my money, but I guess I got a husband. After that summer, we became best friends. For years we swore up and down that we were nothing more than friends.
