Till Wreck Do Us Part

The Day My Margarita Came with a Side of Fender Bender [Miranda's POV]

It all started back in 2020 — the very day the world shut down. Following word that my senior year had essentially come to an end, I found myself at what was once Caliente (RIP) with a couple of friends (s/o Drew & Mairin), coping the only way we knew how — frozen margs on the patio. That’s when fate literally crashed into my life. Out on the street in front of us came a loud "BOOM," which was quickly followed by another. We had just witnessed a Ford Raptor get double rear-ended right in front of us. The truck pulled into the parking lot right next to us, and as we watched from behind our salted rims, Mairin suddenly realized that she knew the poor driver. She then proceeded to wave him over, and just like that, fate (and a little whiplash) delivered my future husband to my table. When he began to walk over to us, still fresh from the wreck, I was immediately drawn to something that no accident could dent — the way those baby blue eyes were popping, it was like the golden hour sun was working overtime that day!! Combine that with the "hello, I'm Falcon" — said in the most alluring down-the-bayou accent you'd ever heard — and I knew right then and there that the rest was history. Falcon's POV [**COMING SOON**]

For all the days along the way
