What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 15h30pm. Please aim to arrive from 15h00 to park comfortably and make your way to the chapel without any rush.

Where do I park, and how do I find the ceremony?

Answer

As you arrive at Vredenheim, follow the signs to Feestafel and park in the Feestafel parking area. From there, simply follow the directions to Feestafel Venue — the chapel is located just beside it, a short walk away.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony is held in the chapel beside Feestafel, and the reception takes place at Feestafel Venue, just a few steps away. No additional travel is needed between events.

What should I wear?

Answer

We can't wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Anything between cocktail and semi-formal is perfect — think polished, elegant and comfortable. A jacket or warm layer is encouraged for the cool August evening.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in Stellenbosch is late winter, with cooler afternoons and crisp evenings. Temperatures can range from 16–18°C during the day and drop at night. Please bring a warm layer for after sunset.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep the celebration adults-only so everyone can relax and be fully present, and because seating is limited. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a guest?

As we’re keeping the celebration intimate, we’re only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. If a plus-one is included, it will be noted on your invitation and reflected when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Are gifts expected?

Answer

Your presence is more than enough for us, and no gifts are expected. For those who have asked, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be warmly appreciated. Please know this is entirely optional.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that the ceremony is phone-free so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture the moments for us all.
