Chris and Joanna’s love story began in 2020 and like other modern fairy tales, on Hinge. After a first sushi date at Boathouse on the Bay in Long Beach. It didn’t take long for them to realize they had something special. In 2022, they moved to Houston, TX after Chris was offered a new career opportunity. Together, they embraced life in a new city, spending their time exploring local spots, going to games, traveling whenever they could. They eventually settled in Katy, TX where their relationship continued to grow. Fast forward to October 2025 they went to Italy, exploring Milan and Lake Como. Chris surprised Joanna with a proposal at Villa Monastero in Varenna, Lake Como. It was a perfect surprise in a truly unforgettable setting, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.
